Yes

We say yes. We say yes a lot these days. We say yes and we watch the magic of life unfold in our lives. I am sitting poolside in Bali having just stepped out of the gorgeous water. I take a look around and my eyes soak in about 20 shades of green. The color of the heart chakra! I shut my eyes and take a deep breath in and out, in and out. My heart is open, my mind is clear, my body is relaxed. I am filled and surrounded by beauty and peace.
Alyssa and I have come back to Ubud accompanied by some incredibly willing and open souls to cohost a retreat with the intention of sharing some of what moved us the first time we were here. This place offers the opportunity to shed old stories, familiar conditioning, tired belief systems. Being here lends itself to developing more expansive ways of being. We became more committed to our spiritual practices here, we experienced daily synchronicities that have had a long term impact on us. We learned how to connect more deeply with that wise and still voice inside that champions us daily.
While we were here last year we started manifesting what we are now experiencing. Playing in Bali with people we love and care about and sharing with them the opportunity to experience more of the Truth of who they are. This is possible anywhere, just so you know, yet here in Bali there is an ease and grace to this process. The Flow of life here is strong and one can sense quite easily in day-to-day if they are "in" or "out" of the Flow. The feedback is clear and strong and this presents a great opportunity to yield and allow or stand fast and buckle down. Obviously, our energetic system prefers the flow, yet our minds are trained and conditioned in another way. Bali life, ah, Bali life is a great mirror for our Soul.
Alyssa and I said yes a year ago to travel the world with the intention of exploring this amazing outer reality and also deeper aspects of ourselves. We have continued to say yes; to adventure, to service, to growth, to love, to Life.
I think some people think the size of the yes is important. I think the power and pleasure lies in the willingness to say yes. It opens the heart, mind, and in essence your life to all that is available for you. Things which you may have no comprehension of in this moment become available in the utterance of yes. The yes unlocks the doors of possibility.
Your yes may be big or may be small. What is big and small anyway? It matters not. Because life is fluid and sometimes the big yes gets small and the small yes gets big!
I am in deep gratitude for all of the yeses that lead me to this day in my life, to the friends I have made along the way, and to the experiences that were birthed from that place of allowance.
